A visit to the Dutch Museum

I visited the Dutch period museum situated at prince street, pettah. This building earlier belonged to the Dutch Governer , Tomas Van Rahee . πŸ’›πŸ’›

This museum has a large cocollection of antique furniture. ❤πŸ’›The baby crib which was made of ebony and satin wood was the cutest among them . The tables , chair and beds were all used by the dutch Governer . πŸ’™πŸ’™πŸ’šThe most fascinating thing was the glass painting of a mother and a child  . This painting was done with different ccolours including gold. πŸ’›πŸ’›❤

The cooking utensils were iinteresting . There were moulds of different shapes used to make sweets πŸ₯°πŸ’πŸ’™. Sri lankans  have taken many culinary items from the Dutch . All kinds of weapons used by them are still to be seen . I enjoyed looking at these things and was surprised to see them πŸ™πŸ’. I wish that other children would get a chance to visit this lovely place❤❤πŸ₯°πŸ’
